Pepper Blue Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 (8-oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp ground red pepper
  •  Whole or crushed multicolored peppercorns (optional)
  • 2 tbsps frozen limeade concentrate, thawed
  • 1/2 lb blue cheese, crumbled & softened
  • 1/2 c butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 tbsps honey
  • 3/4 c toasted walnuts, sliced

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine first 3 ingredients In a large-ish mixing bowl; beat at high speed of an electric mixer until smooth.
  • Step #2 Add limeade concentrate, honey, & ground peppers; mix well.
  • Step #3 Stir in walnuts.
  • Step #4 Cover up & chill at least 1 hr.
  • Step #5 Shape mixture into a cheese round.
  • Step #6 Sprinkle top peppercorns over cheese round, creating a wreath design, if desired.
  • Step #7 Place cheese round on a cardboard circle.
  • Step #8 Wrap in plastic wrap.
  • Step #9 Serve with fruit & crackers.
