Garlic Shrimp Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/3 c olive oil
  • 3 tbsps minced garlic
  • 2 tbsps sliced parsley
  •  Salt
  • 1 lb peeled, deveined shrimp (26 to 30 per lb.), rinsed
  • 1/3 c dry sherry or dry white wine
  • 1/2 tsp hot chili flakes

Directions
  • Step #1 In a 10- to 12-inch frying pan over medium-high heat, stir garlic in olive oil just until it begins to turn gold, 2 to 3 mins.
  • Step #2 Add shrimp & stir until almost completely pink, about 2 mins.
  • Step #3 Add sherry, parsley, & hot chili flakes & stir often until shrimp are barely opaque but still moist-looking in center of thickest part (cut to test), about 1 min.
  • Step #4 Add salt to taste.
  • Step #5 Pour into a serving dish or individual bowls.
