1/2 c kalamata olives, pitted & sliced
1 tsp sugar
3 garlic cloves, pressed
8 plum tomatoes
2 tbsps balsamic vinegar
2 tbsps sliced fresh basil
French baguette slices, toasted
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
3 tbsps capers
Directions
Step #1 Dice tomatoes; sprinkle with salt.
Step #2 Let stand on paper towels or in a colander for 1 hr.
Step #3 Combine tomato, olives, & next 7 ingredients; chill 1 hr.
Step #4 Serve on baguette slices.
