Chicken Fingers With Apple Butter-peanut Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c sesame seeds
  • 1 lb skinned & boned chicken breast halves
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1/2 c Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 c all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  •  Apple Butter-Peanut Sauce
  • 1/3 c milk
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsps butter or margarine, melted

Directions
  • Step #1 Cut chicken into 1/4" lengthwise strips.
  • Step #2 Combine flour, 1 tsp salt, & pepper In a large-ish zip-top plastic bag.
  • Step #3 Add chicken strips, seal bag, & shake to coat.
  • Step #4 Combine egg & milk in a shallow dish, stirring well.
  • Step #5 Combine breadcrumbs, sesame seeds, & 1/4 tsp salt in a shallow dish.
  • Step #6 Dip chicken strips in egg mixture, & dredge in breadcrumb mixture.
  • Step #7 Place in a lightly greased 13" x 9" pan; drizzle with butter.
  • Step #8 Cover up & bake this at 425° for 20 mins; uncover & bake 18 to 20 more mins or until done.
  • Step #9 Serve with Apple Butter-Peanut Sauce, using short wooden skewers.
