Jicama With Chili Salt Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 or 2 limes
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 jicama (1 1/2 to 2 lb.)

Directions
  • Step #1 Mix salt with chili powder to taste.
  • Step #2 Place in a small, shallow bowl.
  • Step #3 Peel jicama.
  • Step #4 Rinse & cut into 1/4-inch-thick wedges or 1/2-inch-thick sticks 3 to 4 inches long.
  • Step #5 Cut limes into wedges.
  • Step #6 Arrange jicama, limes, & chili salt on a platter.
  • Step #7 To eat, rub jicama with lime, then dip in chili salt.
