Shrimp Puffs Recipe

Ingredients
  •  Cream Puffs
  • 1/4 c grated Parmesan cheese, divided
  • 1/4 c sour cream
  • 1 green onion, minced
  • 3/4 lb unpeeled, small fresh shrimp
  • 1/4 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 (3-oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 2 1/4 c water

Directions
  • Step #1 Bring 2 1/4 c water to a boil; add shrimp, & cook 3 to 5 mins or just until shrimp turn pink.
  • Step #2 Drain & rinse with cold water.
  • Step #3 Peel shrimp; devein, if desired, & chop.
  • Step #4 Stir together 1/4 c Parmesan, cream cheese, & next 3 ingredients; stir in the shrimp.
  • Step #5 Cut off tops of Cream Puffs; remove any soft dough inside.
  • Step #6 Spoon shrimp mixture into puffs; replace tops, & place on baking sheets.
  • Step #7 Sprinkle top with remaining Parmesan.
  • Step #8 Bake at 325° for 10 to 15 mins or until thoroughly heated.
  • Step #9 NOTE: To serve Shrimp Puffs chilled, omit baking.
  • Step #10 Cover up & chill at least 1 hr.
  • Step #11 Sprinkle top with Parmesan cheese before serving.
