Step #1 Stir together breadcrumbs & 1/4 c shredded cheese; sprinkle on the bottom of a buttered 9-inch springform pan.
Step #2 Beat cream cheese at medium speed with an electric mixer; add half of ham, shredded cheese, & next 6 ingredients, beating at lowish speed until well mixed.
Step #3 Pour half of cheese mixture into prepared pan; top this with remaining ham.
Step #4 Pour remaining cheese mixture over ham.
Step #5 Bake at 325° for 1 hr or until center is set.
Step #6 Let stand 30 mins.
Step #7 Gently run a knife around the edge of cheesecake, & release sides.
Step #8 Serve slightly warm or at about room temp with crackers.
