Step #1 Have all ingredients at about room temp.
Step #2 Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or microwave oven.
Step #3 In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy.
Step #4 Pour melted chocolate into cream cheese & mix on medium speed until well mixed.
Step #5 Add vanilla & pinch of salt.
Step #6 Slowly mix in the confectioners sugar.
Step #7 Scrape the sides of the bowl & increase mixer speed to medium-high.
Step #8 Slowly add evaporated milk until the frosting is spreading consistency.
