Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsps evaporated milk
  • 4 (1 oz) squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese
  • 4 c confectioners' sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 Have all ingredients at about room temp.
  • Step #2 Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or microwave oven.
  • Step #3 In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy.
  • Step #4 Pour melted chocolate into cream cheese & mix on medium speed until well mixed.
  • Step #5 Add vanilla & pinch of salt.
  • Step #6 Slowly mix in the confectioners sugar.
  • Step #7 Scrape the sides of the bowl & increase mixer speed to medium-high.
  • Step #8 Slowly add evaporated milk until the frosting is spreading consistency.
