Sweet-and-sour Meatballs Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/3 c white vinegar
  • 3 tbsps sugar
  • 1/4 c low-sodium Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 3/4 c ketchup
  • 1/4 c egg substitute
  • 1/2 c Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 3/4 lb ground turkey
  • 3/4 lb extra-lean ground beef
  • 2 tsps dry mustard

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine first 5 ingredients; shape mixture into 1-inch balls.
  • Step #2 Brown meatballs, in batches, In a large-ish nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Step #3 Remove meatballs from skillet, & wipe skillet clean.
  • Step #4 Stir together ketchup & next 4 ingredients in skillet; bring to a boil.
  • Step #5 Add meatballs, reduce heat, & let simmer 5 mins or until meatballs are no longer pink.
