Crispy Asiago Frico Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 lb aged Asiago cheese, coarsely shredded
  •  Optional seasonings: sesame seeds or finely sliced macadamia nuts

Directions
  • Step #1 Sprinkle top 6 tbsp-size mounds of the cheese In a large-ish nonstick skillet.
  • Step #2 Top each mound with a pinch of the seasonings.
  • Step #3 Cook the frico over moderately high heat until lacy & slightly set.
  • Step #4 Using a thin, loosen & flip each frico & cook for 1 min longer, flexible metal spatula, or until crisp & golden.
  • Step #5 Transfer to paper towels to drain.
  • Step #6 Wipe out the skillet & repeat.
