• 2 tbsps cornstarch
• 1/2 c sugar
• 1 egg, beaten
• 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
• 1/8 tsp almond extract
• 2 c milk
• 1/3 c baking cocoa

• Step #1 In a medium saucepan, stir this together the sugar, cocoa & cornstarch.
• Step #2 Gradually whisk in milk & egg.
• Step #3 Stirring constantly, bring to a boil over med-heat/flame, & cook this until thickened.
• Step #4 Remove from heat, & quickly stir in the the vanilla & almond extracts.
• Step #5 Garnish as desired, & serve warm.
