Olive-nut Spread Sandwiches Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 c sliced pecans, toasted
  •  Garnish: toasted pecan halves
  • 1/2 c sliced pimiento-stuffed green olives
  • 1 to 2 tbsps mayonnaise
  • 1 (8-oz) package cream cheese, softened
  •  Thin pumpernickel bread slices

Directions
  • Step #1 Stir together first 4 ingredients In a large-ish bowl.
  • Step #2 Cover up & chill until ready to serve.
  • Step #3 Cut crusts from bread slices; cut each slice into 4 squares.
  • Step #4 Serve spread on bread slices.
  • Step #5 Garnish, if desired.
