Creole Catfish Dip Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp Creole seasoning
  • 2 tbsps Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsps mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 (8-oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (12-oz) bottle chili sauce
  • 1/2 c sliced green onions, divided
  • 4 (4-oz) catfish fillets
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Directions
  • Step #1 Fish in a Flash: Pour water to a depth of 2 inches into a large skillet; bring to a boil.
  • Step #2 Add fish, & return to a boil.
  • Step #3 Cover up, reduce heat.
  • Step #4 & let simmer 5 to 8 mins or until fish flakes with a fork.
  • Step #5 Remove from skillet with a slotted spoon; cool slightly.
  • Step #6 Flake into bite-size pieces.
  • Step #7 Beat cream cheese & next 4 ingredients with an electric mixer until smooth.
  • Step #8 Stir in 1/4 c green onions.
  • Step #9 Spread cheese mixture in an 8-inch bowl or cast-iron skillet.
  • Step #10 Spread chili sauce over cheese mixture; top this with flaked catfish & remaining onions.
  • Step #11 Serve as soon as possible.
