Swiss-and-walnut Pears Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 (3/4-oz.) wedges Swiss spreadable cheese
  • 1 Bosc or Bartlett pear
  • 1/3 c finely sliced walnuts

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat 1/3 c finely sliced walnuts in a small nonstick skillet over medium-low heat, stirring often, 2 to 3 mins or until toasted.
  • Step #2 Cut 1 Bosc or Bartlett pear into about 20 equal slices.
  • Step #3 Stir together 3 (3/4-oz.
  • Step #4 ) wedges Swiss spreadable cheese.
  • Step #5 Spread bottom half of 1 side of each pear slice evenly with cheese.
  • Step #6 Sprinkle top with walnuts.
  • Step #7 Note: For testing purposes only, we used The Laughing Cow Original Creamy Swiss spreadable cheese.
