Fresh Salsa Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 large plum tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 medium cucumber, peeled & sliced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 c finely sliced fresh cilantro
  •  Garnish: whole jalapeño pepper
  • 2 tbsps olive oil
  • 2 tbsps vinegar
  •  Tortilla chips
  • 1 habanero chile pepper, seeded & minced*

Directions
  • Step #1 Stir together first 9 ingredients in a small bowl.
  • Step #2 Cover up & chill at least 1 hr.
  • Step #3 Garnish, if desired.
  • Step #4 Serve with tortilla chips.
  • Step #5 *1 jalapeño pepper, seeded & minced, can be substituted.
