Potato And Onion Flat Bread Recipe

Ingredients
  •  Cornmeal for the skillet
  • 2 tbsps olive oil
  • 1 tbsp whole rosemary needles
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 small yellow onion, thinly sliced into circles
  • 1 package (about 1 lb) put in the fridged pizza dough
  • 1 russet potato, peeled & thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp kosher salt

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat oven to 450° F.
  • Step #2 Heat the oil In a large-ish cast-iron skillet over med-heat/flame.
  • Step #3 Add the onion & cook this until golden, 5 to 7 mins.
  • Step #4 Transfer the onion to a bowl.
  • Step #5 Add the potato, salt, rosemary, & pepper & toss; set aside.
  • Step #6 Wipe out skillet, turn it upside down, & sprinkle the bottom with the cornmeal.
  • Step #7 Place the dough on a work surface.
  • Step #8 With your hands or a rolling pin, carefully shape the dough into a round the same size as the skillet.
  • Step #9 Place the dough on the bottom of the skillet.
  • Step #10 Arrange the potato mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border.
  • Step #11 Bake until the crust is golden brown, about 20 mins.
  • Step #12 Slice into wedges.
