Four-cheese Pâté Recipe

Ingredients
  •  Garnish: pecan halves
  • 1 c (4 oz) shredded Swiss cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsps milk
  • 3/4 c sliced pecans, toasted
  • 1 (4 1/2-oz) package Camembert cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsps sour cream
  • 2 (8-oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (4-oz) package crumbled blue cheese, softened
  • 1 (8-oz) package cream cheese, softened

Directions
  • Step #1 Line a 9" pieplate or cakepan with plastic wrap; set aside.
  • Step #2 Combine first 3 ingredients in a mixing bowl; beat at medium speed of an electric mixer until smooth.
  • Step #3 Spoon mixture into prepared pieplate; spread evenly to edge.
  • Step #4 Sprinkle top with sliced pecans.
  • Step #5 Combine 2 packages cream cheese, Camembert cheese (including rind), blue cheese, & Swiss cheese in a medium mixing bowl; beat at medium speed until smooth.
  • Step #6 Spoon mixture over pecans into pieplate; spread evenly to edge.
  • Step #7 Cover up & chill at least 2 hrs.
  • Step #8 Invert onto serving plate; carefully remove plastic wrap.
  • Step #9 Garnish, if desired.
  • Step #10 Serve with apple wedges & pear slices.
