Chili Crab In Won Ton Cups Recipe

Ingredients
  • 6 oz shelled cooked crab
  • 16 won ton skins (3 1/4 in. square)
  •  About 2 tbsps olive oil
  • 1 can (4 oz.) sliced green chilies
  • 1/3 c minced green onions, including tops
  • 2 tbsps mustard-mayonnaise mix (or 1 tbsp each mayonnaise & Dijon mustard)
  • 1/2 c shredded jack cheese with chilies

Directions
  • Step #1 Lightly brush 1 side of each won ton skin with oil.
  • Step #2 Center each square, oiled side down, on a muffin c (1 1/4-in.
  • Step #3 across bottom).
  • Step #4 Gently press skin down to line c smoothly; skin will extend above pan rim.
  • Step #5 In a 6- to 8-inch frying pan over medium-high heat, stir 1/2 tsp oil & onions until onions are limp, about 1 min.
  • Step #6 Remove from heat.
  • Step #7 Stir in chilies, crab, & mustard-mayonnaise.
  • Step #8 Fill each won ton c equally with crab mixture.
  • Step #9 Sprinkle top filling evenly with cheese.
  • Step #10 Bake in a 350° oven until rims of won ton skins are golden & crisp, 8 to 10 mins (7 to 9 mins in a convection oven).
  • Step #11 Lift from pan & serve hot.
