2 (11.5-oz) packages put in the fridged cornbread sticks
1 large egg, separated
3 tbsps butter or margarine
1/2 c grated Parmesan cheese, divided
Directions
Step #1 Unroll cornbread sticks, & separate at perforations.
Step #2 Flatten into 5- x 2-inch strips.
Step #3 Bring 1/2 c water & butter to a boil in a medium saucepan; reduce heat to low, 6 tbsps Parmesan cheese, & stir in the egg yolk, & next 4 ingredients.
Step #4 Remove mixture from heat.
Step #5 Place 1 tbsp potato mixture on each cornbread strip.
Step #6 Fold cornbread over, pressing edges to seal.
Step #7 Brush with lightly beaten egg white, & sprinkle with remaining 2 tbsps Parmesan cheese & ground red pepper.
Step #8 Place bites on baking sheets.
Step #9 Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 mins or until light golden.
