Step #1 In a medium skillet, heat 1/4 c of the olive oil until shimmering.
Step #2 Add the garlic, stirring, sage & rosemary & cook over moderately high heat, until fragrant & the garlic is just beginning to brown, about 1 min.
Step #3 Add the beans & toss to coat.
Step #4 Transfer the cannellini beans to a food processor/blender.
Step #5 Add the water, season this with salt & cayenne & process to a fairly smooth puree.
Step #6 Transfer the dip to a small serving bowl, drizzle the remaining 2 tbsps of olive oil on top & serve this with pita chips.
