Drunken Grilled Asparagus Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsps olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 c Burgundy wine
  • 2 lbs fresh asparagus, trimmed
  • 1 tbsp prepared brown mustard

Directions
  • Step #1 In a medium bowl, garlic powder, whisk together Burgundy wine, olive oil, brown mustard, black pepper & salt.
  • Step #2 Place asparagus in a large glass bowl, & cover with the Burgundy wine mixture.
  • Step #3 Cover bowl, & marinate asparagus in the refrigerator at least 2 hrs, turning every once in awhile.
  • Step #4 Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat, & lightly oil grate.
  • Step #5 Grill asparagus 10 mins, or to desired tenderness.
