Cucumber Sandwiches Recipe

Ingredients
  • 20 sandwich bread slices
  • 20 thin wheat bread slices
  • 1 medium cucumber, peeled, seeded, & finely sliced
  • 1/3 c mayonnaise
  • 1 (8-oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 tsp sliced fresh dillweed
  • 1/4 tsp garlic salt

Directions
  • Step #1 Process cream cheese & mayonnaise in a mixer or food processor/blender until smooth, stopping once to scrape down sides.
  • Step #2 Combine cream cheese mixture, garlic salt, cucumber, & dillweed.
  • Step #3 Spread cucumber mixture evenly onto white bread slices, & top this with wheat bread.
  • Step #4 Using a 2- to 3-inch round cutter, cut sandwiches, discarding edges.
  • Step #5 Or cut crusts from bread, discarding crusts, & cut sandwiches into quarters.
  • Step #6 Store cucumber sandwiches in an airtight container for up to 1 hr before serving.
