Grilled Shrimp With Bacon And Jalapeños Recipe

Ingredients
  • 8 thick-cut bacon slices, halved
  • 16 unpeeled, large fresh shrimp
  • 16 thick, round wooden picks
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsps olive oil
  • 2 jalapeño peppers
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions
  • Step #1 Soak round wooden picks in water 30 mins.
  • Step #2 Peel shrimp, leaving tails on; devein, if desired.
  • Step #3 Set shrimp aside.
  • Step #4 Cut each pepper lengthwise into 8 pieces; remove seeds.
  • Step #5 Toss together shrimp, jalapeño peppers, salt, olive oil, & black pepper In a large-ish bowl.
  • Step #6 Set aside.
  • Step #7 Microwave bacon slices on HIGH 30 seconds.
  • Step #8 Wrap 1 bacon slice half around 1 shrimp & 1 piece of jalapeño pepper.
  • Step #9 Secure with a wooden pick.
  • Step #10 Repeat procedure with remaining bacon slices, shrimp, & jalapeño pepper pieces.
  • Step #11 Grill, over medium-high heat (350° to 400°) for 4 to 6 mins or until shrimp turn pink, without grill lid, turning once.
