Olive Cheese Bites Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (7 1/2-oz.) jar pimiento-stuffed olives
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 c butter, softened
  • 1 (10-oz.) block sharp Cheddar cheese, finely grated
  • 1 tsp ground red pepper
  • 1/2 tsp onion salt
  • 1 3/4 c all-purpose flour

Directions
  • Step #1 Beat cheese & butter at medium speed with an electric mixer In a large-ish bowl until mixed.
  • Step #2 Add red pepper, & onion salt, Worcestershire sauce, beating just until mixed.
  • Step #3 Gradually add flour, beating until mixture is mixed & smooth.
  • Step #4 Drain olives on paper towels.
  • Step #5 Pinch off a 1-inch piece of dough.
  • Step #6 Wrap dough around 1 olive; roll in hands to form a ball, covering entire olive with dough, & place on a lightly greased baking sheet.
  • Step #7 Repeat procedure with remaining dough & olives.
  • Step #8 Bake at 350° for 15 mins or until lightly browned.
  • Step #9 Remove to wire racks, & let cool completely.
