Spicy Party Spread Recipe

Ingredients

Pinch of salt
1/3 c sliced pecans
1 (8-oz) package cream cheese, softened
2 tbsps taco seasoning
2 to 3 green onions, sliced
1/2 c picante sauce
1/3 c (1.3 oz) shredded Cheddar cheese
1 1/2 tsps butter or margarine, melted

Directions

Step #1 Bake pecans in a shallow pan at 275°, stirring every once in awhile, 20 to 30 mins or until toasted.
Step #2 Stir in butter, & sprinkle with salt.
Step #3 Stir together cream cheese & next 4 ingredients; stir in the pecans, & spoon into an 8-inch square baking dish.
Step #4 Bake, covered, at 375° for 45 mins or until thoroughly heated.
Step #5 Serve with crackers or corn chips.
