Shrimp Paté Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 (8-oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tsps dry sherry
  • 2 shallots
  • 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 2 tbsps minced fresh chives
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 c butter
  • 1/2 tsp seafood seasoning

Directions
  • Step #1 Melt butter In a large-ish saucepan over med-heat/flame.
  • Step #2 Add shallots; sauté until tender.
  • Step #3 Stir in shrimp & seafood seasoning.
  • Step #4 Cook 3 to 5 mins or until shrimp are pink & cooked through.
  • Step #5 Transfer mixture to a food processor/blender, & pulse until finely sliced.
  • Step #6 Add remaining ingredients; pulse to mix.
  • Step #7 Spoon into serving crock.
  • Step #8 Cover up & chill in the fridge.
  • Step #9 Serve with toasted pita chips, toasted baguette slices, or crackers.
