Smoky Green Chile-cheddar Cheese With Avocado-mango Salsa Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 (8-oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (1 1/4-oz) envelope taco seasoning mix
  •  Avocado-Mango Salsa
  • 2 (8-oz) blocks Monterey Jack cheese with peppers, shredded
  • 2 (4.5-oz) cans sliced green chiles, drained
  • 16 oz smoked Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 6 green onions, minced

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine first 6 ingredients In a large-ish bowl.
  • Step #2 Divide mixture into 2 equal portions; shape each into a 6-inch round.
  • Step #3 Cover up & chill 8 hrs, or freeze up to 1 month; thaw in the refrigerator 8 hrs.
  • Step #4 Place cheese rounds on serving plates; top evenly with Avocado-Mango Salsa; serve this with tortilla chips.
  • Step #5 Note: Smoked Cheddar cheese may be found in the deli seciton of your grocery store.
