Bruschetta Gorgonzola And Apples Recipe

Ingredients

Cooking spray
12 (1-oz) slices diagonally cut French bread (about 1 inch thick)
3 Granny Smith apples, each cut into 8 wedges (about 18 oz)
1/3 c (about 1 1/2 oz) crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
2 tbsps butter, softened
6 garlic cloves, halved
1/8 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp brandy or cognac

Directions

Step #1 Prepare grill.
Step #2 Combine first 4 ingredients in a small bowl, stirring until mixed.
Step #3 Place bread slices on grill rack coated with cooking spray; cook 2 mins on each side or until lightly browned.
Step #4 Remove from grill.
Step #5 Rub cut sides of garlic over one side of each bread slice.
Step #6 Spread 2 tsps cheese mixture over each bread slice.
Step #7 Serve with apple wedges.
