Sweet-and-spicy Texas Pecans Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsps butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/4 tsp ground red pepper
  • 2 tbsps sugar
  • 1/2 lb sliced pecans or pecan halves

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine pecans & melted butter in an aluminum foil wrap-lined jellyroll pan.
  • Step #2 Bake at 350° for 5 mins.
  • Step #3 Combine sugar & red pepper; sprinkle half of sugar mixture over pecans.
  • Step #4 Bake 5 more mins, stirring once.
  • Step #5 Remove from oven; toss with remaining sugar mixture.
