Roasted Olives In Feta Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 tbsps commercial Italian salad dressing
  • 1 c pitted ripe olives
  • 1 c pimiento-stuffed olives
  •  Garnish: extra assorted olives
  • 3 (8-oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 tsp hot sauce
  • 1/2 lb feta cheese, drained & crumbled

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine first 3 ingredients; stir until olives are coated.
  • Step #2 Spread coated olives on a 15" x 10" x 1" jellyroll pan.
  • Step #3 Bake at 400° for 25 mins or until olives are charred.
  • Step #4 Let cool.
  • Step #5 Combine cream cheese, feta cheese, & hot sauce In a large-ish mixing bowl.
  • Step #6 Beat at medium speed of an electric mixer until smooth.
  • Step #7 Coarsely chop roasted olives; stir in theto cheese mixture.
  • Step #8 Cover up & chill at least 1 hr.
  • Step #9 Shape mixture into a cheese round.
  • Step #10 Cut into large wedges.
  • Step #11 Garnish, if desired.
  • Step #12 Wrap individual wedges in plastic wrap.
  • Step #13 Serve with fruit & crackers.
