Roasted Chicken Drumettes Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/3 c Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsps olive oil
  • 24 chicken drumettes
  • 3 tbsps fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tsps sugar
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions
  • Step #1 Rinse chicken with cold water, & pat dry.
  • Step #2 Stir together oil & next 4 ingredients In a large-ish bowl.
  • Step #3 Add chicken, tossing to coat.
  • Step #4 Arrange chicken in a single layer on a wire rack in an aluminum foil wrap-lined jelly-roll pan.
  • Step #5 Bake at 450° for 30 to 35 mins.
  • Step #6 Combine mustard, lemon juice, & oregano In a large-ish bowl.
  • Step #7 Remove pan from oven, & carefully add hot chicken to mustard mixture.
  • Step #8 Toss to coat.
  • Step #9 Drain & discard any accumulated fat from pan.
  • Step #10 Place mustard-coated chicken in a single layer on rack in jelly-roll pan.
  • Step #11 Bake at 450° for 8 to 10 more mins or until done.
