Shrimp Cakes With Lime Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c mayonnaise
  •  Vegetable oil
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 to 3 tsps Louisiana Spice uping
  • 2 garlic cloves, sliced
  • 1 large egg
  •  Lime Sauce
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, coarsely sliced
  • 1 lb cooked, peeled, & deveined shrimp
  • 3 c fresh, soft breadcrumbs, divided

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine first 3 ingredients in a food processor/blender; pulse until finely sliced.
  • Step #2 Add mayonnaise & next 3 ingredients; pulse until mixed.
  • Step #3 Add shrimp; pulse until coarsely sliced.
  • Step #4 Stir in 2 c breadcrumbs.
  • Step #5 Shape soft mixture into 12 patties.
  • Step #6 Coat patties with remaining breadcrumbs.
  • Step #7 Place a large, lightly oiled nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Step #8 Cook patties, in batches, 3 to 4 mins on each side or until lightly browned.
  • Step #9 Serve with Lime Sauce.
