Easy Baked Lamb Chops Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (8-oz) package sliced mushrooms
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 18 (2- to 3-oz) lamb rib chops*
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp steak sauce
  • 1/2 (14-oz) can sliced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 (1-oz) envelope onion soup mix

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine first 3 ingredients; set aside.
  • Step #2 Tear off 1 (28- x 18-inch) heavy-duty aluminum foil wrap sheet.
  • Step #3 Place in a 13- x 9-inch pan.
  • Step #4 Place chops in pan; sprinkle evenly with flour mixture.
  • Step #5 Top with soup mix & next 4 ingredients.
  • Step #6 Bring up 2 long sides of foil wrap sheet, & double-fold with about 1-inch-wide folds.
  • Step #7 Double-fold each end to form a packet, leaving room for heat to circulate inside packet.
  • Step #8 Bake at 375° for 45 mins.
  • Step #9 * 12 loin chops may be substituted for rib chops.
  • Step #10 Bake 10 more mins or to desired degree of doneness.
