Spicy Cheese Cocktail Biscuits Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 (8-oz) block sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded (about 1 c)
  • 1/2 c butter, softened
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp ground red pepper
  • 28 pecan halves
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 c all-purpose flour

Directions
  • Step #1 Beat butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy; slowly add cheese, beating well.
  • Step #2 Combine flour, & red pepper; slowly add to cheese mixture, salt, beating well.
  • Step #3 Shape dough into 1/2-inch balls; place on ungreased baking sheets.
  • Step #4 Press a pecan half into each ball to flatten.
  • Step #5 Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 mins.
  • Step #6 Cool 5 mins; transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Step #7 Note: For testing purposes only, we used Kraft Sharp Cheddar Cheese.
