Muesli Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3/4 c slivered almonds
  • 1/2 c untoasted wheat germ
  • 1/2 c dried figs, sliced
  • 1 c rolled oats
  • 3 c 2% reduced-fat milk
  • 1/4 c brown sugar
  • 2 tbsps sunflower seed kernels
  • 2/3 c sliced pitted dates
  • 1/4 c unsweetened coconut, toasted
  • 2/3 c sweetened dried cranberries
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 c oat bran
  • 1 c whole wheat flake cereal (such as Wheaties)

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine first 13 ingredients In a large-ish bowl.
  • Step #2 Add milk, stirring to mix.
  • Step #3 Cover up & put in the fridge mixture overnight.
