Cream Cheese-pumpkin Bread Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 c sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 2 tsps ground cinnamon
  •  Cream Cheese Filling
  • 2 c canned unsweetened pumpkin
  • 2/3 c water
  • 3 1/2 c all-purpose flour
  • 1 c vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 tsps baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions
  • Step #1 Stir together 3 1/2 c flour, sugar, & next 4 ingredients In a large-ish bowl.
  • Step #2 Whisk together pumpkin & next 3 ingredients; add to flour mixture, whisking just until dry ingredients are moistened.
  • Step #3 Spoon 3 c of batter into each of 2 greased & floured 9- x 5-inch loaf pans.
  • Step #4 Spoon Cream Cheese Filling evenly over batter.
  • Step #5 Spoon remaining batter evenly over Cream Cheese Filling.
  • Step #6 Bake at 350° for 1 hr & 15 mins or until a wooden pick inserted in center of bread comes out clean.
  • Step #7 Let cool in pans 10 mins.
  • Step #8 Remove bread from pan, & cool completely on a wire rack.
