Stuffed Pears
Ingredients
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1/4 tsp salt
5 Bosc pears, peeled, cored, & each cut into 8 wedges
2 tbsps butter, plus more for buttering pan
1 fresh rosemary sprig (6 in.)
Directions
Step #1 Preheat oven to 350°.
Step #2 Butter a baking pan & spread pear wedges on it in one layer.
Step #3 Bake until tender when pierced with a fork, 25 mins.
Step #4 Let pears cool, cover with plastic wrap, & chill overnight.
Step #5 In a large frying pan over medium-high heat, melt 2 tbsp.
Step #6 butter.
Step #7 Add pears, rosemary, & salt.
Step #8 Cook, stirring every once in awhile, until pears are brown & caramelized, 15 mins.
Step #9 Stir in pepper & remove rosemary sprig.
Step #10 Serve hot or at about room temp.
Step #11 Note: Nutritional analysis is per serving.
