Spinach-and-bacon Quiche Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 unbaked (9-inch) frozen deep-dish pastry shell*
  • 1/2 c (2 oz) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 (10-oz) package frozen sliced spinach, thawed
  • 1 (1.8-oz) package leek soup mix
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 10 bacon slices, cooked & crumbled
  • 1/2 c (2 oz) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 c half-and-half

Directions
  • Step #1 Drain spinach well, pressing between layers of paper towels.
  • Step #2 Whisk together eggs & next 3 ingredients.
  • Step #3 Stir in spinach, bacon, & cheeses.
  • Step #4 Pour mixture into frozen pastry shell; place on a baking sheet.
  • Step #5 Bake at 375° for 40 to 45 mins.
  • Step #6 * 1/2 (15-oz) package put in the fridged piecrusts may be substituted.
  • Step #7 Prepare according to package directions.
