Sausage-hash Brown Breakfast Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (30-oz) package frozen hash browns
  • 2 c milk
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 lb mild ground pork sausage
  • 1 c shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 tsps salt, divided
  • 1 lb hot ground pork sausage
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Directions
  • Step #1 Cook sausages In a large-ish skillet over medium-high heat, stirring until sausage crumbles & is no longer pink.
  • Step #2 Drain well.
  • Step #3 Prepare hash browns according to package directions, using 1/2 tsp salt & pepper.
  • Step #4 Stir together hash browns, sausage, & cheese.
  • Step #5 Pour into a lightly greased 13- x 9-inch baking dish.
  • Step #6 Whisk together eggs, milk, & remaining 1 tsp salt.
  • Step #7 Pour evenly over potato mixture.
  • Step #8 Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 mins.
