Pound Cake French Toast Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 c milk
  •  Maple-Mint Cream (optional)
  •  Garnish: fresh mint sprigs
  • 16 (1/2-inch) lb cake slices
  •  Raspberry Sauce (optional)

Directions
  • Step #1 Stir together eggs & milk in a shallow dish.
  • Step #2 Dip lb cake slices in egg mixture, evenly coating both sides.
  • Step #3 Cook lb cake slices, in batches, in a lightly greased large nonstick skillet over med-heat/flame 2 1/2 mins on each side or until golden brown.
  • Step #4 Serve with Maple-Mint Cream & Raspberry Sauce, if desired.
  • Step #5 Garnish, if desired.
