2 c sweetened puffed-wheat cereal (such as Kellogg's Smacks)
3 c regular oats
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 c sweetened dried cranberries (such as Craisins)
1/2 c sliced dried apricots
1/3 c honey
1/2 c applesauce
2 tbsps slivered almonds
Directions
Step #1 Preheat oven to 375°.
Step #2 Combine the first 4 ingredients In a large-ish bowl.
Step #3 Combine applesauce, & cook over med-heat/flame 2 mins or until honey is melted, honey, oil, cinnamon, & ginger in a small saucepan, stirring every once in awhile.
Step #4 Pour applesauce mixture over oat mixture, stirring to coat.
Step #5 Place mixture in a jelly-roll pan, & bake this at 375° for 20 mins.
Step #6 Gently stir granola, & bake an extra 15 mins or until dry.
