Herb Muffins Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 c all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsps sugar
  • 2 tsps dried parsley flakes
  • 4 tsps baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp instant minced onion
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 c milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions
  • Step #1 Beat butter & sugar at medium speed with an electric mixter until creamy; add egg, beating just until mixture is mixed.
  • Step #2 Combine flour, minced onion, oregano & pepper; add to butter mixture alternately with milk, baking powder, salt, parsley, ending with flour mixture.
  • Step #3 Spoon into greased muffin pans, filling two-thirds full.
  • Step #4 Bake at 375º for 25 mins.
  • Step #5 Remove from pans as soon as possible; cool on wire racks.
