Chicken And Bacon Shish Kabobs Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c cider vinegar
  • 1 (8 oz) can pineapple chunks, drained
  • 2 tbsps canola oil
  • 1/4 c soy sauce
  • 2 green onions, minced
  • 10 large mushrooms, cut in half
  • 1/2 lb sliced thick cut bacon, cut in half
  • skewers
  • 2 tbsps honey
  • 3 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into chunks

Directions
  • Step #1 In a large bowl, canola oil, cider vinegar, mix the soy sauce, honey, & green onions.
  • Step #2 Place the mushrooms & chicken into the mixture, & stir this to coat.
  • Step #3 Cover, & marinate in the refrigerator at least 1 hr.
  • Step #4 Preheat grill for high heat.
  • Step #5 Wrap the chicken chunks with bacon, & thread onto skewers so that the bacon is secured.
  • Step #6 Alternate with mushroom halves & pineapple chunks.
  • Step #7 Lightly oil the grill grate.
  • Step #8 Arrange skewers on the prepared grill.
  • Step #9 Cook 15 to 20 mins, brushing every once in awhile with remaining soy sauce mixture, until bacon is crisp & chicken juices run clear.
