Sausage Gravy Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 8 oz pork sausage
  • 1/4 c all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 1/3 c milk

Directions
  • Step #1 Cook sausage In a large-ish skillet over med-heat/flame, stirring until it crumbles & is no longer pink.
  • Step #2 Remove sausage, & drain on paper towels, reserving 1 tbsp drippings in skillet.
  • Step #3 Whisk flour into hot drippings until smooth; cook, whisking constantly, 1 min.
  • Step #4 Gradually whisk in milk, & cook, whisking constantly, 5 to 7 mins or until thickened.
  • Step #5 Stir in sausage, salt, & pepper.
