Pecan Popovers Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tbsps honey
  • 2 c all-purpose flour
  • 3 tbsps butter or margarine, melted
  • 2 c milk
  • 1/2 c butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/3 c finely sliced pecans

Directions
  • Step #1 Stir together 1/2 c butter & honey; cover & chill until ready to serve.
  • Step #2 Whisk together eggs, milk, & melted butter In a large-ish bowl; add flour & salt, stirring until smooth.
  • Step #3 Stir in pecans.
  • Step #4 Spoon batter into 12 (6-oz) greased custard c, filling half full; place on a baking sheet.
  • Step #5 Bake at 400° for 40 mins or until firm.
  • Step #6 Immediately prick popovers with a fork to release steam.
  • Step #7 Serve as soon as possible with honey butter.
