Jalapeño-pecan-mustard Butter Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 jalapeño peppers, seeded & minced
  •  Garnish: fresh thyme sprigs
  • 2 c butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/2 c sliced pecans
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/4 c minced red onion
  • 1/3 c Creole mustard

Directions
  • Step #1 Bake pecans in a shallow pan at 350°, stirring every once in awhile, 5 mins or until toasted; cool.
  • Step #2 Stir together pecans, butter, & next 4 ingredients In a large-ish bowl until well mixed.
  • Step #3 Garnish, if desired.
