Sausage-and-scrambled Egg Pizza Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (13.8-oz) can put in the fridged pizza crust
  •  Sour cream (optional)
  • 1 (8-oz) package shredded Mexican four-cheese mix
  • 6 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 tsp seasoned pepper
  • 1 lb hot ground pork sausage
  • 1 (16-oz) jar salsa

Directions
  • Step #1 Unroll put in the fridged pizza crust, & press into a lightly greased 15- x 10-inch jelly-roll pan.
  • Step #2 Bake at 425° for 6 to 8 mins.
  • Step #3 Remove from oven, & set aside.
  • Step #4 Brown ground sausage In a large-ish nonstick skillet, stirring until it crumbles & is no longer pink.
  • Step #5 Drain & pat dry with paper towels; set aside.
  • Step #6 Wipe skillet clean.
  • Step #7 Whisk together eggs & seasoned pepper.
  • Step #8 Cook in a lightly greased skillet over med-heat/flame, without stirring, until eggs begin to set on bottom.
  • Step #9 Draw a spatula across bottom of skillet to form large curds.
  • Step #10 Continue cooking until eggs are thickened but still moist.
  • Step #11 (Do not stir constantly.
  • Step #12 ) Remove skillet from heat.
  • Step #13 Spoon & spread salsa evenly over partially baked crust; top evenly with sausage, scrambled eggs, & cheese.
  • Step #14 Bake at 425° for 12 mins or until crust is deep golden brown.
  • Step #15 Serve with sour cream, if desired.
  • Step #16 Note: To lighten, substitute 1 (12-oz) package reduced-fat ground pork sausage, & prepare as directed.
  • Step #17 Substitute 1 1/2 c egg substitute for eggs, if desired, 1/4 tsp hot sauce, and, & whisk together with seasoned pepper, 1/8 tsp salt.
  • Step #18 Cook as directed.
  • Step #19 Substitute 1 (8-oz) package reduced-fat Mexican four-cheese mix.
  • Step #20 Assemble & bake as directed.
  • Step #21 Serve with reduced-fat sour cream, if desired.
