Creamy Asparagus Pasta Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 lb fresh asparagus, trimmed & cut into 2 inch pieces
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 lb linguine pasta
  • 1 pint light cream
  • 2 tbsps butter
  • 1 lemon, juiced

Directions
  • Step #1 Bring a pot of water to a boil.
  • Step #2 Boil asparagus for 3 to 4 mins; drain.
  • Step #3 In a large saucepan melt butter over med-heat/flame.
  • Step #4 Saute garlic & asparagus for 3 to 4 mins.
  • Step #5 Stir in the cream & let simmer for 10 mins.
  • Step #6 Meanwhile, bring a large pot of water to a boil.
  • Step #7 Add linguine & cook for 8 to 10 mins or until al dente; drain & transfer to a serving dish.
  • Step #8 Stir lemon juice into asparagus mixture; pour mixture over pasta.
