1 lb ground coffee with chicory or dark roast ground coffee
3 1/2 quarts cold water
Directions
Step #1 Stir together ground coffee & 3 1/2 quarts cold water in a 1 gallon pitcher until all ground coffee is wet; let this stand 12 hrs at about room temp.
Step #2 Pour coffee mixture through a large, fine wire-mesh strainer, discarding grounds.
Step #3 Clean strainer; place a coffee filter or double layer of cheesecloth in strainer, & pour coffee mixture through lined strainer.
Step #4 Return coffee concentrate mixture to pitcher; cover & chill up to 1 month.
Step #5 Note: To make iced coffee, stir this together 1/4 c each of Coffee Concentrate & water.
