Mama's Mini-cinnis Recipe

Ingredients
  • 6 tbsps butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp almond or vanilla extract
  • 2/3 c powdered sugar
  • 2 (8-oz) cans put in the fridged crescent rolls
  • 1 tbsp milk or half-and-half
  • 1/3 c firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 c sliced pecans

Directions
  • Step #1 Unroll crescent rolls, & separate each dough portion along center perforation to form 4 rectangles; press diagonal perforations to seal.
  • Step #2 Stir together butter & next 4 ingredients; spread evenly over 1 side of each rectangle.
  • Step #3 Roll up jellyroll fashion, starting at long end.
  • Step #4 Gently cut each log into 6 (1-inch-thick) slices, using a serrated knife.
  • Step #5 Place rolls, 1/4 inch apart, into 2 (8-inch) greased cakepans.
  • Step #6 Bake at 375° for 15 to 18 mins or until golden.
  • Step #7 Cool 5 to 10 mins.
  • Step #8 Stir together powdered sugar & remaining ingredients.
  • Step #9 Drizzle over warm rolls.
  • Step #10 Note: To make slicing easier, place unbaked rolls on baking sheet, & freeze for 10 mins.
